Collections for Chelan County will be Oct 3 at:

• Peshastin Elementary School, 1001 School Road, 8 to 10:30 a.m.

• Entiat Fire Station, Entiat River Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Chelan Fire Station 7, 232 E. Wapato, 2:30 to 5 p.m.

• Chelan County Shop, 210 Easy Street, Wenatchee, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Donations are accepted.

Items that are accepted include: motor oil, brake fluid, gasoline, auto flushes and additives, solvents, paints, glues, pesticides and fertilizers, cements, roof coatings, sealants, caulkings, epoxy resins, thinners, spot removers, polishes, waxes, oven cleaners, toilet cleaners, drain cleaners, deck and chimney cleaners, pool chemicals, inks, dyes, batteries and charcoal fluid.

Items not accepted include: agriculture, commercial or medical waste, gases, electronics, explosives, biological waste, laboratory chemicals, PCBs and containers larger than 5 gallons.
