Member Update 7/20/2023

We have a few exciting initiatives to share.

1. Testing new payment options that integrate with our accounting software.
2. Testing outgoing email account.
3. Updating members preferred contact method.

NEW PAYMENT OPTIONS

1. You can continue to send a check or cash for the amount on the paper invoice you received in the mail. Invoices for second half dues were sent via mail on 7/15/2023. Please disregard if you already paid in full.

2. You are able to pay via email invoice using ACH which includes a 1% convenience fee of the total amount (dues + convenience fee*0.01). Emails invoices are only being sent to members with outstanding dues. Invoices will be sent 7/20/2023. Members who already paid in full for 2023 will not receive an email.

Example:

If dues are $750 paying by ACH the amount due would be $757.58

3. Pay via credit card by emailing Chiwawa@nwi.net to setup this option.

This will include a 2.9% convenience fee on the total amount (dues + convenience fee * 0.029) plus a $0.25 per transaction. Please email Chiwawa@NWI.net if you would like to pay via credit card.

Example:

If dues are $750 if paying by CC the amount due would be $772.65

REMINDER ABOUT LATE FEES

If your account is past due you will be charged 8% interest and a 10% penalty fee on the full amount (By-laws, Article VII, Section 3).

OUTGOING EMAIL

We established an outgoing only email HOA@ChiwawaCommunities.onmicrosoft.com to work on reducing the cost of mailing needed to communicate with members. When responding with questions, concerns, comments, please respond to Chiwawa@nwi.net. We will still provide paper copies of all correspondence to members who desire this method.

PREFERRED CONTACT METHODS

Our goal is to use email as our primary method of communication with members. Please email Chiwawa@nwi.net stating your preferred contact method so we may keep it on file. No email response will default to paper copies.
